OVERVIEW:

The Senior Operations Analyst supports internal operations and the field organization by leveraging data and financial expertise to optimize the allocation of store labor. The Senior Operations Analyst is responsible for the budgeting and forecasting of all labor inputs and the resulting financial impacts. Additionally, the Senior Operations Analyst is responsible for working cross-functionally with internal business partners to develop strategies to achieve key organization initiatives through effective labor management.

  • Support the strategic management and analysis of the store labor budget across all 5 business units. This includes budgeting, forecasting, ad-hoc analysis and hindsight reviews. Analysis should be done through the lens of “story-telling” with data-driven observations and recommendations.

  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for data and analysis to support key reporting and analysis deliverables. Candidate should feel comfortable manipulating large data sets and presenting findings in concise, clear manner using data visualization techniques as needed.

  • Interface with cross-function business partners to develop key strategies to optimize labor allocation. This includes both internal and field-facing partners. The candidate will also support the training of field partners on key financial and labor management principals such as ROI.

  • Manage a small portfolio of routine key metric reports for both executive-level and field audiences

    Support the maintenance and configuration of field-facing labor management system

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business related field

  • 3-5 years experience

  • Expert-level knowledge with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access

  • Experience with Alteryx a plus

  • Experience with Qlik a plus

  • Retail Experience a plus

  • Proficiency in SQL a plus
